Ungerth started its present activities as paper and board exporters in 1995. The company has its roots in Jan Liebig Ltd, which was established in 1925 and had an excellent reputation as a worldwide exporter of paper, carton, pulp and sawn timber.

Lars Ungerth, our present Chairman, was for many years the Managing Director of Jan Liebig Ltd. 1986, the company merged with Ekman & Co, to form Ekman Liebig AB.

Jan Liebig Ungerth, owner and Managing Director of J. Ungerth AB, started his career in Jan Liebig Ltd.
